YKM would like to thank its members, their families, and our clients for a very successful Chinese New Year.  Our success has continued past Easter where we performed for events such as:

  • Offical Unveiling of Bruce Lee Statue in Kogarah
  • a contemporary art event, The Begin-Again, jointly held by the Hurstville City Council and Museum of Contemporary Art
  • Chinese Trade Delegation Function held at Sydney Opera House
  • Nundle “Go for Gold” Chinese Festival, held at Nundle (Near Tammworth)

93rd Annual Lions Club International Convention

 

Yau Kung Mun will be participating in the 93rd Annual Lions Club International Convention on Tuesday 29 June 2010. We will be performing in the “Grand Parade of Nations” which will start at 10:00am.

The Opening Ceremony of the Parade will start at 10:00am and will be held at Hyde Park (between Elizabeth and Park Streets).

Eight Lions and our Big Dragon will be in action during the parade. The Parade will start at 11:00am and the parade will start at College Street through Macquarie Street to Circular Quay.

We hope to see you there for the great event!

18/12/2009: Australian National Maritime Museum

Australian Yau Kung Mun Association performed for the Australian Maritime Museum on the 18/12/2009. We used our new uniforms for our first time ever for the event; Mythic creatures: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaids.

31/10/2009: St Scholastica’s College

We performed for the college’s annual “Noodle Night” where the evening acts as a fund raiser for the Sisters of the Good Samaritan.

28/10/2009: Fortune Abalone, Chatswood Store Opening
